Everyone can define the difference between yesterday and today.

"Kaniadto sa bata pa ako". A line from a Visayan novelty song which I shared to people I choose and love. Cultures and values of a native Cebuano/Bisaya are within my blood. And yes, Im speaking of Cebuano/Bisaya people, it's culture and of course it's dialects.

A Letter to my Silent Brother.. PDF Print E-mail

My dear Brother & Sister just wanna share this nice article ive read.
There are times when we get discouraged by things that happen and by people around us. Times when we want to give up on someone because we don't love him

anymore. Times when we hate ourselves for hating others. Times when we stop loving because people fall short of our expectations.

To love without asking why or how, without setting any limit... is this how we love? Or is our love defined by how much we gain or how much someone makes us

happy? We should love a person not because of anything else but simply because we love him, nothing more, nothing less. Our love becomes conditional when we

Prayer is a Gift of God To begin with, prayer is a gift of God. "Gift" is a good word to describe prayer, because praying is not something we can do of ourselves. " We do not know how to pray as we ought," scripture says. Prayer is a gift God must give. And God gives that gift generously, without consideration of our worthiness or our unworthiness. Sinners as well as saints can pray. People of every religious tradition receive the gift. In fact, every human being is able to pray. The Catholic Catechism reminds us of that by entitling its opening section on prayer Yes, all are called to pray. All receive the gift. And, surprisingly, sometimes those thought to be "ungifted" pray best and are graciously heard.

We are born with differences which is actually for me one of the reasons why our world is full of excitement. Excitements that motivate me to wake up the next time the sun spreads its light to the world we're living. If it doesn't exist, then life would be too flat...no reason to cry nor smile and even laugh. The earth would just like be an empty place and I would just be a living-dead. It is through these differences that we learn the true meaning of what might all people think the reason the world moves?love. Differences among people make love possible. That may probably why binaries exist; white-black, good-bad, life-death, poor-rich.

Do Something You Don't Know PDF Print E-mail

Vincent Van Gogh once said, "If you hear a voice within you saying you cannot paint, then by all means paint it, and that voice will be silenced." It is common for us to think and do things in terms of our limitations. We restrict ourselves from venturing atop a peak full of uncertainties because we are afraid of falling off. As humans, we are always in danger of falling, but it is also our responsibility to know which mistakes are worth keeping.

Since I entered a formal system of education, I heard so much of these words: "I am not good enough to do this"; or, "Why not ask John or Paul or Cristina, she'll do better with this"; or worst of all, "Sorry, I just can't do this." Why couldn't we just try? Is it because we are too concerned with questions of reputation or shame? Lots of what-ifs pop into our minds, most of which hinder us from doing things. However, we couldn't blame other people for discouraging us. It is just so prevalent that our society tends to look down on people who, at some point in their journeys, reached intersections and chose wrong directions.
